After a tough election season in our divided country, I am focusing on the road ahead. In District 59, just like in our state and our country, there are as many people happy as there are disappointed with the election results. However, as your elected state representative, I know that after the campaign ends and the votes are counted, the voters expect the winners to get to work on the important business of governing.
I am humbled and grateful for another opportunity to serve in the Tennessee House of Representatives by representing the 59th district in Davidson County. I ran for re-election because I love helping my fellow Tennesseans, and I know I can make a difference and improve lives through governing. The most important thing I can do now is become an example of decency and common sense while working to make our state better.
Looking ahead, there is much work to be done. I am focused on what I can control by channeling my efforts on initiatives that improve the lives of those I represent and Tennesseans at large. I am committed to fighting the fights that truly matter and seeking common ground with those who I may not agree with. That is what governing means to me. I will give my all for everyone in Tennessee.
Thank you for another opportunity to serve. As always, please reach out if you have any questions or if I can help.
– Rep. Caleb Hemmer
